The Desert Pearl Project

About The Desert Pearl

Formed in July 2023, DDX Global operates as licensed for consulting services and real estate activities, with a primary focus on tokenization consultancy. They collaborate with top partners for asset management projects, adding value to tokenized assets.

The project vision is to create an eco-tourist attraction that combines Dubai’s history and heritage with the natural beauty of the desert. The DDX Global team and its partners will build a desert resort city with hotels, apartments, shops, entertainment and business venues.

Current plans are to build 1000 hotel rooms, 1200 apartments, a shopping mall and conference centre, alongside an amazing pearl-shaped building for tourism and entertainment (40 storeys high), as well as a Museum and Heritage centre.

Project Scope

DDX Global is constructing a project near Dubai South. This eco-tourist attraction merges Dubai's history with desert beauty, encompassing hotels, apartments, shops, entertainment, and business venues.

Plans include building hotel rooms, apartments, a shopping mall, a conference center, a distinctive pearl-shaped building for tourism, and a museum and heritage center.

  • Developing 5 Dunes, featuring a 6-star hotel, 5-star hotel, co-branded luxury suites, luxury apartments, and an underground retail street (mall).

  • The Pearl project includes a luxury boutique oasis hotel, Pearl Arena, an Arab Astronomy Museum, and The Oasis.

The Designers of Deser Pearl

We have partnered with Zhuzh Designs who have conceptualized the Desert Pearl and are also working on additional projects that can be seen on our official YouTube. channel. Zhuzh Designs are a luxury architecture and interior design company based in Dubai, with offices in Malaysia, USA and Australia.

Zhuzh Designs envision the project taking a first principles approach to sustainability. Features in the architecture plans include the creation of deep overhangs to mitigate direct sunlight on glazing (reducing solar heat gain), good thermal mass to moderate extreme temperatures and in-slab cooling for more effective temperature management.

The apartments will be designed for cross ventilation when the weather permits, constructed with low carbon steel and concrete, and where possible, the usage of local materials and labour.
